Autobiography and diary, 1830-ca. 1867.

Typescripts of a diary and an abridgement of diaries for the years from 1830 to 1859 and 1832. Murdock joined the Mormon Church in 1830 and lived in Kirtland, Ohio; Missouri; Nauvoo, Illinois; and Salt Lake City, Utah. He had numerous assignments for the Mormon Church and migrated to Utah in 1847. He participated in Zion's Camp in 1834 and went on a mission to Australia from 1852 to 1853.
